Especially car thieves are “indifferent” to these cars.

This year, cybercriminals Hyundai and Kia have been the most likely to steal – these brands shared the first place in the anti-classification, with 17.6% of thefts, according to a survey by insurance companies RESO-Garantiya and Soglasie.

According to the models it is:

  • Hyundai Tucson
  • Hyundai Santa Fe
  • Kia Sorento
  • kia Rio.

The Lada Granta and Mitsubishi Outlander models overtake them, each accounting for 8% of the thefts.

At the end of the list are Toyota Camry and Toyota Land Cruiser – 4%.

And very rarely stolen:

  • Honda CR-V
  • Infiniti M35
  • Infiniti QX80
  • Mercedes Benz E 200
  • Lexus LX570.

Hijackers’ color priorities have changed – white cars started stealing more often – 61%, black cars accounted for only 13%.

From the elements of the car, side mirrors, headlights (both mainly from cars of the premium segment), spare wheels suspended from below, wheels of the car itself (which has always been the case), exhaust catalytic converters (from the same Korean brands). While the number of such thefts has not increased, insurers say.
