Without Mazda: it became known what will happen to the factory in Vladivostok

Sollers Auto will restart the car factory in Vladivostok in 2023 and start producing a new model line. The serious plans of the company are evidenced by the fact that the staff and the site will be preserved, no redundancies are planned.

There will be temporary downtime in the factory, but this will not affect the employees involved in the maintenance of the site and the launch of a new project. As soon as they are ready for the start of production, unused personnel will be brought in, TASS reports.

The relevant ministries of the regional government are in constant contact with the management of Mazda Sollers. Deputy Chairman of the Government of Primorye Nikolai Stetsko believes that there are objective conditions for a successful future economic project: location near key logistics points and active demand for manufactured products (cars).

However, it is not yet clear what kind of cars they will produce here. Collected here before Mazda 6 sedan and crossovers CX-5, CX-9.
