Unconfirmed reports indicate that a small run of Vesta NG vehicles, assembled before the Lada Izhevsk plant ceased operations, will enter the market in the near term. In line with prior announcements, AVTOVAZ plans to distribute roughly 800 cars across its network of about 300 dealers, with configurations spanning the mid-range Comfort+ and Luxe trims. A source within the dealer network cited by Lada.Online confirms that the refreshed family line offers three powertrain choices.

The lineup starts with the baseline 1.6-liter VAZ-21129 engine producing 106 horsepower, paired with the VAZ-2180 manual transmission. The second option is a 1.6-liter Renault HR16DE producing 113 horsepower, equipped with a JF015E CVT. The third option is an 1.8-liter VAZ 21179 engine delivering 122 horsepower and mated to a VAZ-2180 manual gearbox. All three engines retain 16 valves, and there is no planned shift to a robotized transmission. In other words, the engine lineup remains consistent, with the notable exception that the 1.8-liter unit has received an upgrade.

Additionally, EnjoY Pro multimedia systems with updated functionality are expected to appear in certain Vesta NG trims. In the mid-range configurations that were likely produced in Izhevsk before factory shutdown, the display is predicted to be the traditional horizontal screen. Top-tier variants featuring a tablet-style display are anticipated to arrive later, potentially next year.

Within EnjoY Pro models that feature the standard screen, there is a schematic image illustrating how parking sensors operate: it shows which sensor is active, the location of the obstacle, and the distance to it. Parktronic settings, including sound type, volume, and mute options, can be adjusted. A trailer mode is also present, which disables the rear sensors to accommodate towing scenarios.

Another notable change concerns the manufacturer’s warranty obligations. The source indicates that the new Vesta, also referred to as Vesta NG, may carry a warranty of two years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, whereas the current Vesta version provides a three-year, 100,000-kilometer guarantee. It should be noted that these details are unofficial and have not been confirmed by the company’s press service.

  • At this stage, the limited batch is projected to include about 800 cars, with the expectation that production could resume in 2023, according to AVTOVAZ’s president.
  • The driving experience and features of the Vesta NG are accessible for viewing on RuTube.
