Looking ahead, Russian car traders may begin bringing the American electric vehicle Tesla Cybertruck through parallel imports if there is sustained demand. This possibility is noted by Prime, citing the Russian Association of Automobile Dealers (ROAD).
ROAD indicates that the vehicle could surface in parallel import networks and that supply channels might form quickly. The association adds that interest from buyers would drive any such entry, signaling a potential shift in the Russian market landscape for the Cybertruck.
The Tesla Cybertruck debut happened in the United States, where Elon Musk handed the first customer deliveries. In the United States, the dual-motor Long Range version starts around 80,000 dollars, while the tri-motor variant, known as the Cyberbeast, is priced near 100,000 dollars. Musk highlighted features like resilient, rock-ready glass, the ability to tow a five-ton trailer, and a 0–100 km/h time of roughly 2.6 seconds.
At the Moscow Tesla Club dealership, which specializes in the import process for Tesla vehicles, officials stated that delivery and customs clearance for the two-motor all-wheel-drive Cybertruck in Russia would total about 12 million rubles.
Earlier reports mentioned that a more affordable budget sedan, the Wuling Starlight, is expected to go on sale in December, signaling broader dynamics in the regional electric-vehicle market. [Source: Prime, ROAD]
