Ora, a brand under the Great Wall Motor umbrella, has stepped into the Russian automotive market. Reports circulated by the Telegram channel No Limits, citing a statement from Haval’s general director Andrey Akifiev, mark this notable entry.
The debut model arriving at Russian dealerships is the Ora 03 hatchback. In the local market, the standard version carries a price tag of 3.9 million rubles, while the sportier GT variant is listed at 4 million rubles.
Ora’s electric vehicles rely on the LEMON platform, a platform developed by Great Wall specifically for electric mobility. The Ora 03 features an electric motor rated at 171 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 150 km/h.
The Chinese automaker launched the Ora brand in 2018, immediately steering its focus toward electric vehicle production and the development of zero-emission driving technologies.
Great Wall Motor invested roughly 10 billion yuan in advancing the Ora platform and related technologies, underscoring a long-term commitment to electrification and global expansion.
