AvtoVAZ has quietly expanded its Lada Vesta lineup by introducing the Sportline variant of the Vesta SW, adding a practical wagon that leans into sporty styling. The official release confirms the new model and its position on the brand’s current price ladder, noting a starting price of 2.35 million rubles. At present, it stands as the most expensive model in the AvtoVAZ range that is available for sale.

The manufacturer explains that the Lada Vesta Sportline with a station wagon body marks a first for the brand: a family-friendly vehicle equipped with enhanced engine performance and a tuned chassis that emphasizes a sportier driving experience. This combination aims to deliver everyday practicality with a more engaging ride, appealing to buyers who require space and versatility without sacrificing dynamic handling.

Under the hood, the Vesta SW Sportline is powered by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 118 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The manufacturer quotes a top speed of 190 km/h and a zero-to-100 km/h sprint time of 10.9 seconds. To reinforce its sportier character, the model adopts a lower ride height and a retuned suspension featuring upgraded shock absorbers. Exterior upgrades include a body kit with red horizontal accents, a rear spoiler, a dual exhaust system, 17-inch wheels, and a gloss black roof with aerodynamic fins, all contributing to a distinct, purposeful look that stands out from the standard Vesta lineup.

There is also the Black package, priced at 2.38 million rubles, which deepens the car’s visual impact with a matte black and gloss black theme. This package adds black detailing to key exterior elements such as wheel rims, front bumper moldings, grille trim, the trunk lid, and the spoiler, delivering a cohesive, aggressive visual stance for the Sportline wagon.

Earlier sightings at a Tolyatti dealership lot showed multiple examples of the Lada X-Cross 5, indicating that AvtoVAZ is actively stocking a diverse mix of cross- and sport-focused iterations across the Vesta family. The presence of these models signals a strategic push to broaden the Vesta family’s appeal to buyers who want a practical wagon that does not compromise on style or driving engagement. For shoppers evaluating a versatile vehicle capable of handling family duties while delivering a spirited drive, the Vesta SW Sportline with its sport-oriented tuning and styling packages presents a compelling option within the current AvtoVAZ portfolio.
