An incident in Krasnoyarsk involved a powerful blast that destroyed an expensive foreign vehicle in the city center, according to Krasnoyarsk News Agency Kras Mash.

The dissemination of information indicates the explosion happened overnight between February 13 and 14 at 64 Ada Lebedeva Street. The Range Rover SUV was completely burned as a result of the fire, and investigators are treating the case with suspicion that it may be more than vandalism.

Security cameras captured the attacker in the act. Fortunately, no injuries were reported because the vehicle was parked inside a garage at the time of the incident.

According to police statements cited by TASS, the estimated material damage amounts to 8.5 million rubles. A criminal case has been opened under the charge of deliberate destruction of someone else’s property by arson, reflecting the seriousness of the act and the ongoing investigation.
