KAMAZ Delegation Presents Full Equipment Sets at Kazan Mobilization Assembly Point
A delegation from PJSC KAMAZ recently visited the Kazan assembly point for mobilized personnel to hand over complete equipment kits to KAMAZ employees called up under the partial mobilization. The handover marks a coordinated effort to ensure new mobilized workers begin their service with essential gear ready and in good condition, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce during this period.
Each mobilization kit allocated to a KAMAZ worker is valued at 150,000 rubles and includes 44 individual items. The core contents feature a first aid kit, dry rations, and a hygienic toiletry bag, along with seasonally appropriate uniforms for summer and winter and a ballistic helmet with body armor. These items were procured by KAMAZ from suppliers within Russia, underscoring a priority on domestic development and supply chains. The procurement strategy also emphasises redundancy with spare items to ensure uninterrupted readiness should future mobilizations require rapid deployment of fully equipped personnel.
In interviews with rally-point instructors—seasoned officers who have served in challenging environments—the company emphasized that the body armor selected represents the strongest options currently available on the domestic market. The aim is to maximize protection while balancing comfort and mobility for personnel during potential deployments. Officials noted that all equipment was purchased with a surplus, a deliberate choice to prevent any delays in equipping mobilized workers at the point of need. The company also indicated that it may broaden the equipment list over time in response to evolving requirements and feedback from frontline teams.
To date, 35 KAMAZ personnel have been drafted, comprising men aged 21–35 who have prior military service. These individuals are slated to receive a monthly stipend of 50,000 rubles, with an additional 25,000 rubles from the company’s trade union committee, allocated to mobilized workers who are members of the union. This financial support package is designed to help stabilize livelihoods during mobilization and recognize the commitment shown by eligible employees. The trade union structure will coordinate these payments and ensure timely disbursement in line with internal policies and applicable regulations.
Beyond the financial and logistical aspects, the company has reiterated its willingness to assist family members of mobilized staff who request support.
