In Yakutia, when nighttime cold snaps push temperatures well below minus 50, street traffic patterns shift noticeably. Drivers gain a practical advantage by using portable enclosures referred to as Natashas that shield vehicles from the extreme elements and help preserve their condition during long rests outside a garage.

A recent development from North-Eastern Federal University has introduced a device designed to keep vehicles at an optimal operating temperature even in the harshest frosts. The so called warm parking capsule is engineered for quick assembly and disassembly and features a unique heat exchange ventilation plate that reduces carbon monoxide buildup while ensuring steady airflow within the space.

The installation trials indicate that a portable gas heater can raise the capsule interior to a comfortable temperature in roughly forty five minutes and attain a rise of about fifteen degrees within one hour and twenty five minutes. These findings were reported by NEFU researchers.

Biogas is proposed as a reliable fuel option, able to perform consistently across very low temperatures. With this device, equipment that lacks a traditional garage setup can endure lengthy stays in the cold, which is particularly valuable for truck drivers, hunters, and anglers who spend extended periods outdoors.
