The Hyundai Solaris sedan has been showcased on Hyundai’s Indian website, signaling plans to start assembly in the spring while a large portion of production is aimed at export markets.
In comparison with the prior version beloved by many, the refreshed model features slimmer light clusters at the juncture of the hood and grille, reminiscent of the design language seen on the older Grandeur. The sides gain softer relief pleats, and the taillights display a distinctive pattern that sets the sedan apart.

It is noted that the new Hyundai Verna/Solaris will roll out in India equipped with two 1.5 liter petrol engines. The first unit will be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT, while the more potent option will add a dual-clutch or automated manual transmission in addition to the manuals.
The plan is to offer the sedan in four trim levels: EX, S, SX and SX(O), with nine exterior color options, two of which will be two-tone combinations.
