The vehicle dimensions measure 4655 millimeters in length, 1900 millimeters in width, and 1668 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of 2770 millimeters, providing a balanced stance suitable for both city commuting and highway cruising.

The HS3 made its debut in Shanghai around mid-2024, marking a strategic entry into the global market for Hongqi. Ahead of this release, the company announced a broader lineup for the Russian market planned for the end of 2024. The portfolio at that time included the HS3 crossover along with the L1 sedan and the HS5 and HS7 sport utility vehicles. Additionally, the Hongqi HQ9 minivan was announced for Russia, initially available with front-wheel drive and a gasoline engine, expanding the brand’s family-oriented options in the region.
