Evolute’s Mobile App: Remote Vehicle Control and Smart Charging in North America
In October, the Evolute electric car from Motorinvest began sales, and early innovations are already benefiting owners. A purpose-built mobile application, designed for Russian users, enables remote control of the vehicle from a smartphone.
The app makes it possible to monitor key technical and maintenance parameters, including charging status and remaining range, as well as the condition of doors, headlights, interior temperature, and battery heat. This level of visibility helps owners stay informed about their vehicle at a glance, even when away from the car.
One notable feature is the display of battery degradation levels directly within the native app. To extend the lifespan of an electric vehicle, it is commonly recommended to keep the battery charge within roughly 20 to 80 percent. Each Evolute car includes remote access, enabling use by family members as needed.
Beyond monitoring, the app provides several practical functions for owners, such as:
- planning routes to preferred charging stations
- paying online for charging services
- remotely monitoring battery status
- locating the vehicle on a map
- remote climate control (coming soon)
- warming or cooling the cabin for a comfortable ride (soon)
For charging stations, the app can indicate real-time availability and allow reservations. Stations featuring remote booking, customer support, and online payment are marked with an E icon on the map.
The application supports current Evolute models in the i-PRO and i-JOY series, along with future Evolute model releases. It is available for download from the App Store and Google Play. [Source: Evolute press service, Behind the Wheel]
