The study further ranked the pre-emergency braking system in fourth place, indicating a preference for protective automation that can mitigate collisions at the moment of risk. The automatic lighting system followed in fifth, signaling the value placed on reliable illumination and visibility during nighttime or poor weather. Additional features like parking assist, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and fatigue monitoring were also highlighted, illustrating a broad appetite for a connected suite of driver-support tools that contribute to safer, more confident driving experiences.

Historically, drivers have identified power steering as a key option in a car. The same respondents often referenced airbags, central locking, and air conditioning as important pieces of everyday driving comfort and safety. These recurring themes reveal a balance between active safety systems and essential comfort features that together shape consumer choices on the road.

Looking beyond the survey’s geographic focus, analysts noted that several Chinese brands such as Chery, Haval, and Geely are widely recognized among Russian car buyers, reflecting a global diversity of brand awareness. In the Russian market for 2023, 35 vehicles from Chinese brands were officially sold, with an additional number entering the country through parallel imports. This pattern echoes the broader trend of growing awareness of Chinese automotive options in diverse markets and highlights how brand perception can shift with time and exposure.

In other market updates, there were reports that a model featuring scissor doors from the Dongfeng eπ 007 line was expected to begin sales in China, signaling ongoing innovation and a willingness to explore distinctive design elements within the global automotive landscape. This kind of product feature often sparks conversation among buyers who value both performance and style, contributing to a richer, more varied marketplace.
