The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has compiled a list of components that must be imported so as not to depend on the supply of foreign partners from unfriendly countries.
Some of the components and assemblies from this list will not be released in Russia for the foreseeable future. Therefore, it is possible to buy components from companies from friendly countries.
The same components, assemblies and components will be used for warranty repairs of UAZs, and not just when mounted on a conveyor.

It is rumored that automakers in the Middle East may also start supplying parts to UAZ. And it’s very real. For example, Iranian companies are planning to open several joint ventures in Russia to produce spare parts and components for cars.
