AvtoVAZ president Maxim Sokolov noted that this is due to the fact that “too large a set of auto components used in this car has been blocked for deliveries today.” How many XRAY hatchbacks are there today in Russia, experts from the Avtostat agency said.
According to them, as of July 1, 2022, 159.1 thousand such cars were registered (including the Cross version). A total of 833 new hatchbacks were purchased in July and August. In mid-September, for example, about 500 cars were still unsold at dealers across Russia. By the end of the year there will be just over 160,000 Xreys in our country.
The fourth part of the XRAY park is concentrated in five regions:
- Tatarstan (share – 6.6%)
- Bashkiria (5.8%)
- Samara region (5%)
- Sverdlovsk region (4.1%)
- Chelyabinsk (4%) region
Almost half of the cars were produced in 2017-2018. About three quarters of the Xrays are equipped with a 1.6-litre engine (106 hp) and the remaining 26.5% are equipped with a 1.8-litre engine (122 hp). 14% are equipped with a CVT or a robot, slightly more than 86% have a manual gearbox.
