Sales of cars Lada Granta in August 2022 amounted to 11,580 units. That is 77% more than in July 2022 and 131% more than in August 2021. Let’s recall that a year earlier AVTOVAZ also had problems with the supply of components and that production lines were periodically stopped. The average monthly sales of Lada Granta in 2021 was 9,286 vehicles, which is lower than the result for August 2022.
In August 2022, 1,782 SUVs were sold Niva legendwhich is almost 3 times (+185%) more than in July 2022 and 17% more than in August 2021. Production of Niva SUVs in 2021 also experienced periodic component supply problems.
In total, 18,087 Lada cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in Russia in August 2022, 75.2% more than in July 2022. For example, sales of cars belonging to only two families – Granta and Niva – almost reached the level of 2021 in August. , when a line of 5 models was produced.
