Subaru has released a teaser trailer for the new crossover, which will premiere on September 15, 2022.
The teaser’s resolution is terrible, and it’s very hard to see anything. But visible are narrow LED headlights, C-shaped taillights, wheel arches and a slim beltline.
The grille has a single transverse line, the fog lamps are round and the rear overhang is very short.
Subaru does not say what kind of model it is, but simply calls it “the new crossover”. Presumably it can be updated XVaka Crosstrek. This is quite a logical assumption, given the proportions and appearance of the model, which is reminiscent of the Impreza.
XV is a very important model for Subaru and is in high demand. For example, 127,466 of these cars were purchased in the US last year.
