Alfa Automative Technologies, which is engaged in the stamping of car body panels from sheet metal, has completed the construction of a new factory and obtained permission to start operating the facility.
Thus, a large-scale project for the relocation and modernization of the company’s production facilities from the territory of AMO ZIL has been completed.
Alfa Automative Technologies (AAT) is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of body parts with a production volume of more than 9.5 million spare parts per year.
AAT’s main customer was the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ alliance. The factory of CJSC Renault Russia was a major consumer of the company’s body parts, another 45-50% of production was used by AVTOVAZ.
The company was founded in 2007 and was located in the ZIL industrial zone. When the city council decided to reorganize the industrial zone, the question arose to transfer production. As a result, the city allocated 36.6 thousand square meters for the construction of a new building. meters in the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye area, and the investment volume in construction exceeded 2.9 billion rubles.
It is planned to produce more than 150 kinds of stamped parts for more than 250,000 sets of passenger cars per year on the capabilities of the new factory.
Among other things, this will ensure a large part of the localization of products from foreign car manufacturers in Russia.
The new venture will provide employment for more than 330 people.
