Head of Insurers Igor Yurgens announced his resignation from all three posts:
“This year marks the end of my next ARIA leadership term as president, and I have decided not to run for another term.
Since this position has a “transversal” status, in which functions are combined in two more unions – the PCA and the RSZ, I intend to leave my position in these organizations,” the insurer’s website korins.ru quotes the text of his declaration.
He noted that he has devoted more than 12 years to the insurance market and a lot has been done during this time, including: in terms of bringing together the interests of large, medium and small companies under the auspices of one self-regulatory organization.
It was not an easy task to get the OSAGO market out of the crisis, which has made this type of insurance not only fairer in terms of settlement, but also closer to the customer.
Another block that the insurance union team worked on was the creation of modern digital services, IT tools on a national scale.
Igor Yurgens noted that now that he is eager to move forward, he plans to focus his efforts on developing ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) initiatives and a number of other areas, to be announced later.
In the near future, all necessary organizational procedures will be carried out and the final decision taken by him will be approved at the general meetings of the above organizations, which will be held before the end of the year.
