If in January 2022 the minimum recommended retail price for half of the cars from the list below was within 1 million rubles, then only Grant can boast of this in mid-August! These are the data from the new Avtostat study: six out of ten models showed a price increase of more than 40%, and two of them – more than 1.5 times.
Lada Largus has seen the largest price increase during this period: plus 56.8%, and the minimum suggested retail price is now 1 million 300.9 thousand rubles. Volkswagen Polo (+51.6%), Hyundai Solaris (+45.2%), Hyundai Creta (+43.1%) and Kia Rio (+41.4%) also entered the top five in terms of prices. Close to these figures is Renault Duster (+41.1%), whose sale in Russia is nearing completion.
And it was Lada Granta that showed the smallest RRP growth, which is accompanied by a smaller shortage at dealers due to the rapid restart of the assembly, as well as with the arrival of special “anti-crisis” trim levels. As a result, the minimum price for the Grant is for 7.5 months. 2022 rose by just 13%.
- At the same time, Granta AvtoVAZ is bringing record profits for today, while the former liquidity leaders are losing ground to Chinese models.
