The Russian car market is increasing the turnover of funds – this figure increased from 83.3 to 87.7 billion rubles from June to July 2022, Avtostat Info reports in Telegram. However, pre-crisis indicators are still a long way off and the structure of the car market itself has changed dramatically. For comparison: a year and a half ago, Toyota RAV4 with a monthly turnover of 189 billion rubles (!) brought the most profit.

The presented infographic clearly reflects the new reality: today non-European and Japanese manufacturers are earning in the Russian car market. The Chinese Chery, Geely and Haval replaced the departed or heavily losing ground models. Only the Korean pair of Hyundai (Creta, Solaris) and Kia (Rio, Sportage) were among the top 15 models in terms of profitability, and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport miraculously remains.
Hyundai Creta and Lada Vesta, occupying 2nd and 4th lines respectively in terms of profitability in 2021, fell back to 5th-6th by July 2022, and above that are completely different leaders. Today it is Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Geely Coolray and Haval Jolion. And only Lada Granta is still out of reach. And not only in terms of profitability, but also in terms of number of copies sold.
