The car received a sliding canopy roof, which is also a door to the saloon, a large splitter, a large diffuser, a two-section rear wing, as well as air intakes above and on the sides of the cabin to cool the engine. The monocoque and body panels are made of carbon fiber. In the cabin there is a seat for a driver. The steering wheel has a digital instrument cluster and controls.
The new hypercar McLaren Solus GT is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine that develops 840 horsepower. The engine is paired with a 7-speed sequential gearbox whose parts are made of magnesium and titanium, as well as suspension parts with carbon fiber clutches.
