I was looking for the best options for premium cars on the secondary market, the author of the magazine “Behind the wheel” Sergey Zinoviev.
The requirements for applicants were as follows: a premium sedan, aged from 8 to 10 years, with a mileage of not more than 200 thousand km, the price is not more than 1.5 million rubles.
Out of the variety of options, in our opinion, the most worthy stands out: the Lexus IS.

If you do not save on replacing the working fluid, the “capital” of the machine can be slowed down.
From the minuses of the model – a small resource from the water pump and the phase shifter clutch. After a long period of use, starting in frost can be difficult due to the build-up of soot. You need to clean the accelerator and after 150,000 km it is possible to replace the piston rings.
But one of the undisputed advantages: — Virtually non-corrosive bodywork and minimal minor defects. Among other things, the car is well equipped – a dual-zone “climate”, 8 airbags and 13 speakers in the “base”.
The average price of such a car on the secondary market is 1.46 million rubles. For comparison, the “base” Kia Rio (although new) costs 1.43 million rubles.
