Innovations in vehicle registration were reported to the traffic police of the Kherson region. The information is reported by the bureau RIA Novosti. Here newly registered cars are given numbers with the code 184.
It should be noted that such a license plate is assigned only to drivers who are citizens of Russia. Those who have not yet received a Russian passport will be given temporary numbers. These will be license plates with the coat of arms of the Kherson region.
The report also says that in the region, car registration is carried out under a simplified procedure. No technical inspection is required for this. It is sufficient that the car is inspected by a traffic police officer.
According to the deputy head of the regional administration, Kirill Stremousov, quoted by RIA Novosti, the codes on license plates may change after the region becomes part of the Russian Federation.
