The incident occurred on national highway 65 between the villages of Pitesti and Slatina in Olt District. According to preliminary information, the driver entered the corner fast and some of the beer cans he was carrying with him fell onto the road and broke. It is stated that the bottles were broken and the beer created a real stream.
The police found that the truck driver had not properly secured the cargo, so he was fined 870 Romanian leu (about 11,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).
