— There are rumors of the introduction of OSAGO for owners of scooters and other similar equipment. Do you think road safety benefits from this?
– Won’t win. As well as the introduction of speed limits and fines for scooters as there is nothing or no one to check their violations.
Only knowing the basics of traffic rules and following them, combined with a general awareness of the dangers of driving on the roadway, can increase safety. This won’t have much of an effect, though.
Ideally, it is necessary to separate the flows of cars, passenger transport and pedestrians.
And so far, the law allows the issuance of OSAGO not only for scooters, but even for mopeds up to 50 blocks – because they do not need to be registered with the traffic police.
