The fire at the Moscow Oil Refinery did not affect the process of supplying fuel to the Russian capital, this was stated by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergei Tsivilev, reported on his Telegram channel. “You’ve listened to the Lighthouse”.
The head of the relevant department noted that the authorities have the ability to quickly direct fuel to areas where there is a shortage for any reason, so the incident at the Moscow refinery should not affect ordinary residents in any way.
“There was no tragedy for citizens or consumers. This is a bigger problem for us, we need to bring everything back to normal,” Tsivilev added.
According to him, the fuel market occasionally experiences a “planned resource shortage.” This shortage is due to the modernization and repair process of some oil refineries.
The Minister explained that during the work at the refinery, the authorities are building new logistics. He explained that we are talking about meeting the fuel needs of one component of the Russian Federation at the expense of others.
On the night of September 1, a fire broke out in a refinery in the Kapotnya region as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones on Moscow and the region. It turned out was in a separate technical room and was quickly located.
