The updated Lada Vesta may go up for sale in the near future. According to Lada.Online, these will be Lada Vesta NG (“new generation”) cars from the cars the company managed to assemble before production was discontinued. So we are talking about a limited run (as in the case of Largus), not an early resumption of production.

According to the source, information regarding the supply of single copies of Vesta NG to Lada car dealers was received directly from a representative of the dealer network. The AvtoVAZ press service noted that they have not yet confirmed these data.

The source clarifies that a total of about 800 cars in all body types will be distributed between dealers (there are about 300): sedan, Cross sedan, SW and SW Cross (pictured) – in medium Comfort + and Luxe trim levels. It is also reported that the manufacturer forbids dealers from transferring cars to journalists and bloggers without an agreement.

Prices for cars, the author of the message writes, will be announced at the end of July.

Recall that the first updated Vesta left the assembly line of the Lada Izhevsk plant on February 22 of this year, and at the same time was presented to journalists – however, the interior of the novelty remained hidden. Now that the company is inactive, employees receive payments equal to 2/3 of the average income, are involved in public works and are transferred to other companies.

  • But Vesta’s assembly is still scheduled to resume. According to the statement by AVTOVAZ chairman Maxim Sokolov, this will happen in early 2023.
  • “Driving” can now be viewed on RuTube.
