Hyundai acquired the General Motors factory, which had been inactive since 2015, in 2020. It was planned to produce the Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Palisade and Kia Sportage models. However, production was suspended in 2022 due to problems with component supply. As a result, Hyundai’s assets were purchased by Art-Finance.
