A month ago, Mahindra introduced its new Scorpio-N model and now the price of this frame SUV has been revealed. This is a model for the global market, and not just for India, which means it will most likely appear in Russia as well.
The car was designed by the Mahindra Research Center in India in collaboration with the Mahindra North American Technical Center in the US.
Scorpio-N has a traditional SUV design, but not without aerodynamics in mind. Inside, there is seating for seven passengers on coffee-black leatherette seats, and there is a sunroof in the roof. There is also an 8-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The AdrenoX-based multimedia system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, has Alexa voice support and more than 70 apps, including a remote control function.
The SUV is equipped with a choice of petrol or diesel engines. The 2-litre petrol engine has a power of 200 hp. and 380 Nm, and the 2.2-liter diesel mHawk – 175 hp. and 400Nm. They can be combined with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The disk can be either behind or full.
Prices in India for Mahindra Scorpio-N start at 1,199,000 rupees (785 thousand rubles) and go up to 1,949,000 rupees (1.27 million rubles). First deliveries of the Scorpio-N are scheduled for the end of the year.
