This will lead to rapid corrosion of the metal,” said Anton Shaparin.
According to him, sound insulation made of foam rubber can also cause corrosion because it accumulates moisture. Additionally, additional sound insulation can increase the weight of the vehicle by up to 100 kg. This will cause the braking distance to increase.
