The Russian government has supported the bill proposing to give drivers the right to appeal decisions on traffic violations within 10 calendar days, rather than 10 days. In this respect reports TASS. 30.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. It is planned to amend the article. The author of the bill is Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs of the Liberal Democratic Party.

According to the current legislation, if the last day of the appeal period for a traffic police fine falls on a weekend or holiday, it is not postponed until the next business day. The purpose of the bill is to ensure that people brought to administrative responsibility have the right to object to decisions in case of administrative offenses.

Before that Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR) developed A bill to allow thicker tinting of front side windows. The bill proposes that drivers should not be penalized if the light transmittance of their vehicles’ front side windows is at least 50%.

According to technical regulations, the light transmittance of the windshield and front side windows must be at least 70%. With tinting, visibility is reduced at night and in bad weather conditions. Thanks to a tinted windshield, the distance at which an object is recognized is significantly reduced.

For violation of glass light transmittance standards, a fine of 500 rubles is imposed.
