If drone attacks on Russian refineries continue and there is a need to purchase fuel for cars on foreign markets, Belarusian refineries can meet the demand. Grigory Bazhenov, head of the Independent Fuel Association analytical center, told socialbites.ca.
“In principle, there are Belarusian factories ready to carry out this supply. Capacities will be loaded and the opportunity to purchase this fuel will arise. I exclude the possibility of a deficit on a federal scale. But local supply disruptions are possible,” Bazhenov told socialbites.ca.
According to him, the situation with the production of gasoline and diesel fuel in Russia is quite stable for now, and foreign purchases may be necessary only if the worst-case scenario occurs with attacks on Russian refineries.
