Owners of Chinese cars in Russia in winter often complain about discharged batteries, engines not starting in cold weather, windshield wiper malfunctions and paint defects. This was reported in a study by Avto.ru classification, which was provided to socialbites.ca.
“Chinese vehicle owners said they mostly encountered battery discharge (36%) and problems starting the engine due to low temperatures (33%) this winter. Another quarter (24%) mentioned malfunctions of elements of the glass cleaning mechanism such as brushes, trapezoids and washers,” the study states.
Additionally, 16% of respondents complained about build quality and paint defects. 14% of car owners complained about problems with the brakes and gearbox operation.
Dealers surveyed by Avto.ru noted that in 43% of cases, customers complained about problems with touch screens. In addition, failure to start the engine in cold weather, malfunction of the ABS system and problems with the on-board computer are among the notable problems.
