Kia’s Australian division launched The first teaser video confirming the launch of the new pickup truck.
The video is made in Wild West style: In the video, 20 famous Australian athletes discuss a new product in a gym. The name of the pickup truck was not specified. However, in the video, visitors place bets expressing their own versions (Tugga, Buddy, Aloisi, Macca, etc.).
It is assumed that the new Kia product will be called Tasman, since the manufacturer has already registered this trademark. There is a hint of this in the video itself: While playing darts, one of the heroes of the video hits a card with a dart in the Tasman Sea.
The Tasman will have a 2.2-litre diesel engine with manual or automatic transmission as well as all-wheel drive. The premiere is expected to be held next year. The new product will compete with Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.
