As the investigation revealed, the 32-year-old Central Asian native was taking a married couple to an entertainment center. During the trip, an argument broke out between the customers and the taxi driver over their musical preferences. When the customer arrived at the scene, he dropped his wallet, which contained two mobile phones and 2 thousand rubles, into the car. The next taxi passenger discovered the property and gave it to the driver, but he decided to keep the money and phones for himself.
The police opened a criminal case against the driver for theft that caused serious damage. He was investigated and taken to court. The taxi driver faces up to 5 years in prison.
