It turned out that the hybrid system control processor in many Jeep vehicles was programmed incorrectly. This may cause the windshield heating to be switched off, resulting in reduced visibility.
The recall affects the 2022-2024 Grand Cherokee 4xe model. The defect was also found in the 2021-2024 Wrangler 4xe. It is stated that experts will need to update the software for these models.
