They tried to stop the driver, but he stepped on the gas. During the chase, Senior Lieutenant Gavranin took out his AKS-74 service machine gun and fired at the vehicle 30 times.
It was noted that two passengers of VAZ-21099 were injured as a result of the fire and were taken to the hospital. The driver was taken to the police station. It turned out that he was drunk.
