A high-ranking employee of the Russian Guard caused a major accident in his Mercedes-Benz car in Pyatigorsk. In this respect reports Telegram channel Baza.

“Colonel Stepanov, head of one of the units of the National Guard in the North Caucasus Region, was returning from duty in his white Mercedes-Benz. On Ermolov Street, he lost control and flew into a Land Cruiser at high speed. The collision caused the Toyota to fly into oncoming traffic and hit the Chery Tiggo, the report states.

It was stated that many people were injured in the accident. The Mercedes-Benz driver was sent for a medical examination, which showed he had 0.67 ppm of alcohol in his blood.

Before that, in the Sverdlovsk region, while driving next to a MAZ truck flew I turned the steering wheel and hit two people. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, with one person in intensive care. According to the information provided by the police, they got out of the vehicle to help the driver who had broken down on the road before the incident. It is not known why the MAZ’s wheel fell off. An investigation is underway.
