Chinese concern Great Wall has launched a new premium brand – Wey – on the Russian market. The first model was the Wey 05 crossover, this was reported by the company’s press service. The cost of the car is 6.5 million rubles.
The crossover received a hybrid power plant made according to a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) scheme with the ability to charge from the network. Total system power is 421 hp. The transmission is a dual-clutch nine-speed wet hybrid. The maximum speed of Wey 05 is 220 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 5 seconds. Average fuel consumption is 7.7 liters. per 100 km.
The interior design of Wey 05 includes a head-up display and an electronic instrument panel. The climate control system is controlled via a touchscreen with haptic feedback. The premium audio system is equipped with 12 speakers, and in addition, the crossover also has an active noise reduction system.
The car’s equipment includes LED headlights, noise-cancelling windshields, three monitors in the cabin (one of which is responsible for managing comfort functions), massaging and ventilated front seats and a 12-speaker audio system. The first cars will appear in the brand’s showrooms on February 21.
