Two unidentified attackers set fire to a soldier’s UAZ Patriot SUV in Novy Devyatkino, near St. Petersburg. In this respect reports Telegram channel “Mash on Moika”.
Allegedly, one of the arsonists started the fire himself. Additionally, neighbors noticed the fire and started extinguishing the car. However, the SUV’s hood, bumper and radiator grill were burned. A few days after the incident, the owner of the vehicle contacted the police after eyewitnesses told him about the arson incident. Before that, he thought that the UAZ caught fire on its own.
Security camera footage shows two men approaching the vehicle in the dark. One was bent over the Patriot wheel, the other was off to the side. They escaped after the vehicle caught fire. Several more people then ran into the car and began throwing snow at the flames under the engine compartment.
