It is better not to leave medicine, food or smartphone in the car in winter. In this respect reports Radiosputnik.ru, citing Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Behind the Wheel”.
“The optimal temperature for storing medicines is clearly above zero. They are usually stored in the refrigerator, in a cool place, at temperatures above zero. You cannot store medicines and other medicines in the car in the cold; you need to always take them with you,” Maxim Kadakov advised.
According to him, you should not leave food, including various liquids, and household items such as pens in the car in cold weather. All of these can deteriorate when exposed to low temperatures.
Additionally, according to the expert, it is better to remove electronic devices from the vehicle.
“Smartphones, tablets and laptops are also contraindicated during frostbite. For this reason, the devices you take home from a frozen car should not be operated for several hours until they warm up and dry,” the automobile expert advised.
Automobile expert Vyacheslav Subbotin previously explainedWhy you shouldn’t drive a car with snow on the roof? According to him, layers of snow will fly and hit the windshields of vehicles coming from behind, and this is a serious emergency. Snow-covered trucks pose the greatest danger because snow from their roofs will blow away “in layers like an avalanche.”
