Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has found an airbag supplier for Lada Granta and Lada Vesta cars. In this respect reports press service of the enterprise.
“AvtoVAZ switched to a reliable alternative airbag supplier. In the statement, it was stated that the production of fully functional versions of the Lada Vesta and Lada Granta models will restart in 2024.
In the autumn of 2023, disruptions in the supply of airbags to AvtoVAZ began. This was because the foreign supplier stopped shipping products due to sanctions imposed on the business. To date, a partner has been found whose airbags have passed the entire testing cycle.
It happened before that knownLada Vesta SW Sportline sports station wagons have arrived at AvtoVAZ dealers. The car was equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 118 hp. and five-speed manual transmission. The maximum speed is 190 km/h, reaching “hundreds” takes 10.9 seconds. The car has reduced ground clearance and a retuned suspension with different shock absorbers.
