Toyota automobile concern has decided to cease operations of six automobile factories in Japan. In this respect reports RIA Novosti refers to the NHK TV channel.
The statement said, “Toyota stopped operations in 6 factories due to the snowfall that hit the Kanto region in central Honshu on Monday evening.”
It was noted that traffic was stopped on the main highways in the region due to bad weather conditions, which caused delays in component supply.
According to preliminary information, Toyota factories may restart their operations on the evening of February 6.
