“If a person fills in low-octane gasoline such as AI-92 instead of AI-95 recommended by the manufacturer, this means that instead of fuel burning in the engine during operation, explosions will occur. This leads to destruction of the engine, especially the pistons,” warned Subbotin.
The expert urged vehicle owners not to experiment and only fill the tank with suitable gasoline.
