Sales of the premium compact crossover Hongqi HS3 will start in the Russian market in the second quarter of 2024. This is stated in the press release of the automaker (available from socialbites.ca). The vehicle is currently going through the certification process.
“In the Russian market, Hongqi HS3 will be available in two versions: with a 1.5-liter engine and front-axle drive and with a 2.0-liter engine and all-wheel drive. “There will be 6 colors in the body color palette, 3 of which will be two-tone,” the message reads.
The Hongqi HS3 crossover was first presented at the Shanghai Auto Show in spring 2023. The body length of the SUV is 4655 mm and the wheelbase is 2770 mm. The engine range for the Chinese market includes two turbocharged units: 1.5 liters and a capacity of 168 hp. combined with a two-liter engine (252 hp) working with a seven-speed “robot” and an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the first case, acceleration time to “hundreds” is 9.9 seconds, in the second – 7.2 seconds.
The equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, two 12-inch screens in the cabin, two areas for wireless charging of devices, a keyless entry system, adaptive cruise control, electrically adjustable and ventilated seats.
