It is unlikely that electric vehicles will replace gasoline cars on Russian roads until the infrastructure is improved. In a conversation with the Public News Service about this issue stated automobile expert Vladimir Sazhin.

“We can install an electronic gas station in every garden, but it is not a fact that there will be a queue. Because leaving the car plugged into the garden socket doesn’t do much good. “Someone will definitely buy this place, and another vehicle owner will put his internal combustion engine car there,” he said.

He also said that electric vehicles should be made suitable for harsh winter conditions. Sazhin added that heating the cabin requires a lot of energy, so the range is noticeably reduced.

In January, the company Otonom Energy Systems, which, among other things, is a manufacturer of traction batteries for Lada e-Largus. presented new Zeta batteries. The company emphasized that the development is superior to foreign analogues in terms of parameters and can be installed on electric buses.

Previously reportedHe said that an important advantage for electric vehicle owners has been extended for one year.
