Before going to the bank to get a loan, the old man was given a photo of the car he was allegedly going to buy and asked to write down on his phone the contact number of a fictitious car dealer, which he had to show to bank employees.
After the loan was granted, the victim transferred 1.9 million rubles to the account specified by the telephone fraudster. Realizing that he had been defrauded, the retiree contacted the police.
