Lada became the market leader, accounting for 22.1% of all second-hand cars sold in Russia in 2023. Quantitatively, this corresponds to 1.26 million copies. About half as many Toyota cars were purchased (670.4 thousand units; share – 11.8%). Kia (319 thousand units), Hyundai (315.1 thousand units) and Nissan (296.8 thousand units) also exceeded the 5% limit.
It happened before that knownRenault Megane, Opel Corsa and Volkswagen Passat are considered the most trouble-free European cars under 10 years old in Russia. In addition to the listed models, Volkswagen Jetta sedan and Peugeot 308 hatchback were also in the top 5, while Skoda Fabia ranked sixth. In seventh and eighth places are occupied by two Opel models – Insignia and Astra GTC respectively. The Peugeot 3008 crossover ranks ninth in terms of reliability, while the Volkswagen Golf ranks tenth.
