The Russian government has extended free travel of electric vehicles on toll sections of federal highways from January 19 until 2024. In this respect reports RIA Novosti refers to First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
“The experiment that started last year on free travel of electric vehicles on toll roads was generally successful: approximately 5 thousand drivers took advantage of this benefit and made approximately 315 thousand trips. Belousov said that aid will continue on January 19.
It is stated that electric cars can be used free of charge on the toll sections of the Northern Ring Road of M-1, M-3, M-4, M-11, M-12, Central Ring Road, Odintsovo highways.
